Gratuities

Gratuities are not included in the price for our services, but are gladly accepted. Usually gratuities range from 15-20% of the service price, or larger if you experience exceptional service.

Medical & Health Conditions

To better serve you, please let your therapist know if you have any of the following: pregnancy, muscle or joint injuries, heart condition, high/low blood pressure, diabetes, fever, contagious skin condition or any other medical issue. Also inform your therapist if you are using Retin-A, Accutane, or any photosensitizing or keratolytic medications, or have recently had laser or plastic surgery. Any of the above scenarios may affect our ability to treat you.

Communicating with Your Therapist or Esthetician

At Skintology Spa we specialize in customized treatments that are based on each individual client needs. All aspects of our services can be customized, so please let your therapist know if you feel any discomfort or would like special attention on a particular area. Also, feel free to ask questions. The best experience always comes from honest, open communication with your therapist.

Cell Phone Etiquette

To ensure a serene and relaxing experience for all of our guests, we kindly ask that you turn off your cell phone upon arrival at the spa and refrain from taking phone calls while in the spa. Turning your ringer off and texting during pedicure services is allowed. When you are at the spa, please be respectful of others. We want all of our guests to have a relaxing and memorable experience.

Cancellation Policies

Thank you to our clients, we owe our growth and success to you! And welcome to new potential clients, we are excited about creating a long lasting relationship with you. Your appointments are very important to the members SKINTOLOGY SPA. Your appointment is reserved especially for you.

CANCELLATIONS and RESCHEDULING

We understand that scheduling adjustments are sometimes necessary; however, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests. We reserve the right to charge up to the full service amount for all missed appointments or late cancellations. Any appointment cancelled or rescheduled without 24 hours notice will automatically result in a charge equal or up to 50% of the reserved service amount at the time the service is due to be complete. Our policy reserves the right to require a major credit card, debit card or gift card for scheduling of all appointments. In the event SKINTOLOGY SPA calls to cancel or reschedule your appointment without a 24 hour notice, we hold ourselves accountable as well. You the client will receive 50% off of the value of your booked services at your next scheduled salon visit.

“NO-SHOWS”

Non-cancellations or “NO-SHOWS” will be charged 100% of the original service booked at the time the service is due to be complete. In the event you miss three consecutive appointments without contacting SKINTOLOGY SPA, you will be unable to schedule future appointments. However, you may be considered as a walk-in.

CONFIRMATION CALLS

As a courtesy, we make every effort to notify you of your appointment date and time. We will call to confirm your service one to two days prior to your appointment and you will receive an email confirmation if we have your email on file. We confirm 24 to 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago. However, it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times and inform us if your contact information has changed.

Pricing Policy

Prices are subject to change without notice. In certain instances, our fee schedule may change before the pricing on our website or menu of services. Please confirm the price for your treatment with our reservationists when booking your appointment.

Lost & Stolen Items

Skintology Spa is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Lockers are available and it is the responsibility of the client to secure their own items and locker keys.

Management Discretion

Skintology Spa reserves the right to deny services or stop services during treatment at the discretion of management.
